The 18th of September marks the sudden death of a legend Mduduzi Tshabalala famously known as Mandoza. A kwaito music star, Mandoza was born in the Zola South section of Soweto where he lived with his parents, grandparents and two sisters.
The Kwaito star has touched and transformed the lives of many through his popular hits such as Nkalakhatha which was produced in 2000 and won multi-platinum status, Godoba (2005) was also a solo album loved by many.
His sudden death agonized many hearts as he was seen in a good state addressing the audience at the SABC Thank You concert at Orlando Stadium on a Saturday night, 10th September 2016.
Mandoza died September 18, 2016, after being rushed to the hospital early hours of the morning. According to his family, he was diagnosed with pharyngeal cancer prior his death. TOJ
