Summer is a great time to show off those sexy legs and toned arms, but it also comes with sunburn, sweat and dehydration. Here are 5 things to keep in your bag this summer to beat the heat.
A Bottle of water
Consuming water helps regulate your body temperature and will keep away any dizziness or headaches caused by dehydration. Drinking water is also a great way to keep your skin looking bright.
Lip repair/balm
Lips have the tendency of becoming chapped if they are exposed to the heat. This is why you need to use a lip balm to help moisturize them as well as to prevent dehydration and chapping.
Get a lip balm that has SPF in it, as this will protect them from sunburn.
Sunglasses
Sunglasses are a great fashion accessory and are also important for protecting your eyes. Shades block the sun’s harmful UV rays as well as protect your eyes from dust. The best sunglasses to buy are the ones written UV 400, as they provide the best protection from the sun.
Sunscreen
Sunscreen is extremely important for protecting your skin against sunburn. When choosing a sunscreen, one should make sure to look at the SPF factor. SPF is the measurement used to determine the sunscreen’s power. The higher the number, the longer your skin will be protected.
Sunhat
Sunhats protect us from sunburn, sun rash and sun stroke. Investing in a sun hat will not only help your health, but it will also add a style staple to your wardrobe, perfect for those bad hair days. TOJ
