Ntozanele Libimbi UJ’s 15th annual International Festival had students showing off their best gear. The International Festival has been on the UJ events calendar for 15 years now and is aimed at celebrating the diverse cultures on the African continent through music, dance, fashion and food.

Cases like mine are not scarce I was born in SA but because none of my parents have acquired citizenship, I couldn’t apply for an ID and automatically became an “international student”.
It was an event of joy, laughter, music, clothing, and food originating from different countries in the world.
