The University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Student Representative Council (SRC) released the 2018 list of Trust Fund recipients on Friday.
More than 1300 UJ students will benefit from the financial aid offered by the SRC. Beneficiaries have the registration fees paid for by the fund and are free to register online to study at the University.

To qualify students were expected to have achieved an average of 60% or more in the previous academic year. Further criteria included a rejected NSFAS application and forming part of the missing middle (having a gross annual income of no more than R600 000) family.
Students applied through uLink, the University’s student portal and they were also expected to send important documents to the SRC via email.
UJ’s registration period ends on the 2nd of February and classes begin on the 5th of February. Orientation week for first-year students will take place from the 30th January to 2nd of February.
